As reported in Petrol World, Invenco, a global provider of revolutionary self-service payment technology and secure customer engagement solutions, launched its G7 OPT into the Asian market at an exclusive event held at the residence of the New Zealand High Commissioner in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Attended by industry representatives and Invenco staff, the launch signaled the G7 OPT being available for sale for the first time outside of the USA. Invenco Chief Business Development Officer, Craig Panter, hosted the event and was quoted as saying:
The G7 OPT has had exceptional uptake with over 15,000 units currently deployed in the USA. “It is attracting attention both as a fully EMV, PCI 4.0, certified payment terminal and as a means to generate revenue for retailers at the pump with exceptional media and graphics capability.”
The G7 OPT is the world's first outdoor payment terminal (OPT) with a 12 inch touchscreen, is fully modular and comes with internet connection as standard.
Invenco has had a strong presence in Malaysia since 2009, with a dedicated service center and business development presence. According to the New Zealand High Commissioner, His Excellency, Dr John Subritzky, Invenco has made a significant investment into the region and is continuing to grow its Asian business.
