Some stores prefer to limit customers contact with pin pads to increase checkout speed and keep the device clean one way to do that is turning off passport signature capture feature start from the manager workstation and select setup then register then register setup select the register you want to change and select change from there find the device configuration section and uncheck the electronic signature option then tap save then you can exit and head back to the cashier workstation now customers don't have to perform a signature besides does anyone really sign their name anyway.
