It happens all the time the cashier gets to the end of the transaction when the customer forgets something like their wallet passport allows the cashier to keep the line moving by setting the transaction aside here's how it works once all items are entered tap suspend on the cashier workstation touch yes the suspended transaction icon appears in the transaction CU and the cashier can now move on to a new customer now let's say the customer has returned with a form of payment retrieve the suspended transaction by tapping the suspended icon in the transaction queue the items appear in the receipt journal and the cashier can finish checking out the forgetful customer now you're ready to knock the next customer curveball out of the park.
