Toronto Canada, 5 March 2019. Invenco Group Ltd has launched into the Canadian market today with a stand at the Convenience U CARWACS show in Toronto. The exhibit showcases Invenco technology including the large, 15 inch, touchscreen version of its G7 Outdoor Payment Terminal (OPT), its ethernet network hub, Invenco Link, and Invenco Cloud Services.
Toronto based Invenco business development manager, Doug Wallace, says there has already been a high degree of interest in Invenco technology, particularly in relation to its cost-to-value ratio. “Across the board Invenco is seen as being a high value option at a very competitive price point,” he says. “The fact it can be retrofit into any existing pumps is highly appealing as is the ruggedness of its touchscreen technology that has already been proven in extreme weather conditions across the United States.
“We are also experiencing a great deal of interest in the ability to use the Invenco OPT screen real estate to drive sales,” explains Doug. “This includes using on-screen promotions to drive upsell and cross sell as well as delivering loyalty programs to the pump. It also provides a cloud-based, managed media platform for advertising – both video and graphic – which can generate a separate revenue stream off what is typically a static asset on the forecourt.”
Canada a natural progression for Invenco
Invenco CEO, Gavin Lennox, says the move into Canada is a natural progression for Invenco leveraging its continued success and growth in the US market. “We see Canadian retailers facing a number of challenges including the need for a value-led upgrade solution for payment at the pump. We are excited about the opportunity to give a real alternative to Canadian fuel retailers and look forward to cementing a strong position in the market.”
The Convenience U CARWACS show runs from 5-6 March and is the largest event of its kind in Canada bringing together all areas of the convenience, gas, and car wash industry. Invenco can be found at Stand #514.
