Gavin Lennox joins Invenco as CEO

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – Invenco announced that Gavin Lennox joins Invenco as CEO.

Much of Gavin’s career has been overseas with Lotus Development, then IBM, Doubleclick, and MapInfo. Gavin and his family relocated from Albany, New York in 2004, he was appointed Chairman of Critchlow in 2006, CEO of Nextspace in 2008, and more recently General Manager of the electricity lines companies joint venture SmartCo.

“Gavin has a great balance of technical and business leadership skills and experience to ensure we are able to achieve our ambitious goals at Invenco,” said Peter Maire, Invenco’s chairman. “He shares our values and our focus on innovation. He has shown himself to be a great leader throughout his career with a proven track record.”

Lennox grew up in New Zealand and later completed Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering Degrees at Brunel University in the UK. He began his career as a software development engineer.
