He joined Advantage Group (Provenco Group), a publicly listed NZ technology company as their Group Accountant for a period of two years. Matthew then spent six years in London working firstly as a Business Analyst for LucasVarity PLC, a FTSE 50 listed group involved in the automotive and aerospace industry, and then as a Financial Controller for Pacific Investments PLC, a privately owned private equity investment company which had interests in various industries including property development, health, sports marketing, fund management, hotels, health clubs to name but a few.
Matthew returned to New Zealand in 2004 after the birth of his first child, and rejoined Provenco Group as the Group Financial controller. He later became the Chief Financial Officer of the group and assisted Sir Peter Maire with the acquisition of Provenco’s Retail Automation Group in 2009. He is now Invenco Chief Financial Officer, a role which is responsible for managing the company’s financial and commercial matters. Matthew resides in Auckland with his wife and three young children.
